About Us

KEENPRESS Productions is the US – Denmark based partnership of Sisse Brimberg and Cotton Coulson, two highly experienced photographers and filmmakers who have also been partners in marriage for 30+ years. They work as a team on corporate, editorial, and personal projects. Their work is centered around real people and issues creating a compelling story told through HD video and stills. Much of their their recent work is centered around contemporary environmental issues.
Currently they are preparing to spend the spring and summer in Iceland, Norway, and Svalbard.
In addition, they teach photo workshops in various locations around the world.
Sisse Brimberg, has been an award-winning photographer for National Geographic since 1976, and has published more than 30 stories ranging from the Far Eastern corners of Japan’s paper industry to Northern Europe’s Viking culture. Born and raised in Copenhagen, her work is exhibited around the world.
Cotton Coulson is an award-winning photographer who began his career shooting for National Geographic at age 21. He was the Director of Photography at “The Baltimore Sun” and Associate Director of Photography at “U.S. News & World Report.” Cotton was Senior Vice-President at CNET Networks where he managed the Creative Design and Product Development teams. Cotton was the cinematographer on the documentary film, Seeds of Hope: Meeting the Challenges of HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia, produced by Dorothy Fadiman.
